What kind of writing studies research are you interested working on?
As a ENG: writing option major (focusing on creative writing) and a COMM: Journalism major, my interests for research would be reading in today's generation. I would be able to talk about:
- how people are reliant on the media
- children are growing up too fast
- people don't often read hard copies of books or news papers.
- people don't go to the library much anymore
The media is big in society right now and young children are growing up faster and faster. I feel that if this keeps up then the ideas we have for young children's books are going to evolve into something that young adults would read now. The internet takes away from whats on paper and it would be great if there was a way to bring life back into reading hard copies of books.
