Define Analysis. What is it? How does it work? Describe how you might use analysis and Gee's building tasks to study one of the areas of interest you mentioned in your first blog.

The root word of Analysis is "analyze". When someone analyses something they do a step by step process to figure things out. You can analyze a song to find its meaning within the words or, like we did in class, we could figure out a puzzle to find a solution. We started out by looking at what we had in front of us and made a list. What did we see? Shapes? Colors?  Next we looked for patterns and tested theories we came up with . If it didn't work out the first time, we tried again. This is what Analysis is its the process of piecing things together  to solve the puzzles in life.

                 If i were to analyze how i would construct research on one of the topics I've chosen in thew first blog I've written, I would do the same steps. I would make a list of ideas and words I know and expand on my knowledge from there by looking at other sources to find the "meaning" in the work i'm going to present.
